If you receive a debit alert you do not recognise with "Paystack" or "Paystack Payments Limited" in the narration, we usually find that you likely had a transaction with a merchant that uses Paystack to receive payments. While some debit alerts contain the merchant's name, others, for technical reasons, contain "Paystack Payments Ltd" instead.
Many times, banks send debit alerts late and this can cause some confusion. To help you figure out which transaction you were debited for, we've created the Transaction Lookup.
How It Works
Simply provide details of the transaction including:
- First six and last four digits of your card
- The date you received the debit alert
- The exact amount debited
You should receive a response showing the name of the business you paid to as well as the date of the debit
What If I Don't Find My Transaction?
If Transaction Lookup is unable to match your details with a transaction, you'll be able to enter your contact details and a screenshot of the debit alert. A member of the Customer Support team will help look into this on our end and get back to you shortly.
