I don't know why I was debited

If you've received a debit alert and the narration contains Paystack or PSTK, don't be afraid. Paystack Payments Limited is a company that processes payments for businesses from their customers.

As such, when your debit alert reads Paystack Payments Limited or any of the other narrations listed above, it simply means that the transaction was made to a business that uses Paystack to collect payments from its customers.

You can confirm which business the payment was made to either by :

• Using Transaction Lookup or
• Submitting a Support request

Using Transaction Lookup

Using Transaction Lookup (paystack.com/lookup), you can securely submit a few details of the transaction, and we'll instantly show you the name of the business that debited you, as well as the exact date and time of the payment.

If you have further questions about the transaction - or if we're unable to find the transaction using the details you provided - you'll be able to quickly alert our Customer Success team to look into it for you with a few clicks.

Submitting a Support request

You can alternatively fill our Support Form, select the category I don't know why I was debited, and provide all the details requested. We'll receive these details, find your transaction and get back to you as soon as possible via email.
