An American Express (Amex) card is an electronic payment card issued and processed by American Express, the world's largest integrated global payment platform. As a Nigerian business with international payments enabled, you can accept payments from your customers who use Amex cards.
Important to Note
To receive payments from Amex cards as a Nigerian-based business, you must first be enabled for international payments. To enable international payments for your business, please refer to this article: How do I turn on international payments on Paystack?
South African-based businesses can receive Amex card payments by default.
To enable Amex cards, please visit your dashboard preferences under Settings and tick the American Express box under 'Card preferences.'
