If your business has been activated and you have integrated Paystack properly on your website but the Paystack checkout is not loading on your website, it's likely due to one of three reasons:
- There could be some old Javascript code cached on your browser. To test this, please try opening the page in an incognito browser. If it works fine, this could be the reason. Try clearing your browser cache for all time and try again. If it doesn't work, please try the next step.
- There could be a browser extension such as an adblocker blocking our script from running on your website which is causing this issue. If the Paystack checkout loaded fine when you were in incognito mode but doesn't work when you clear your cache, try disabling your adblocker and the checkout form should load fine.
- Your browser developer console shows the error Uncaught DOMEXception: Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document. This error is gotten when the “Block third-party cookies and site data” checkbox is set in the Content Settings of your browser. To resolve this, please find the setting, open Chrome settings, type “third” in the search box, click the Content Settings button, and view the fourth item under Cookies. If this setting is checked, third-party script cookies are disallowed and access to localStorage may result in thrown SecurityError exceptions. Kindly uncheck this setting and the checkout form should load fine.
- Finally, if steps 1, 2 and 3 don't work, there is a chance that your internet provider isn't letting you access the Paystack network for some reason. You can try by testing the payment using another internet provider and seeing if the issue persists. If it works fine on another network, then you should consult your IT team if you have any, so they can look into it.
If you have exhausted all the options above and the checkout still isn't loading, please reach out to us at support@paystack.com and we'll get a member of our technical team to help look into it.
